ScotRail Chaos Due to Covid ; Commuters Can't Tell Difference
Train passengers across the country were surprised to hear that the usual cascade of delays, cancellations and service disruptions is in someway different than normal.
Services are being affected by more than three hundred Scotrail staff self-isolating due to Covid, as opposed to the normal disruptions of the past, which have included -
unexpected passenger surges between 08:00 - 09:00 & 17:00 - 18:00 on weekdays
drivers reading unfavourable horoscopes that morning
leaves on the rail tracks
the possibility of rain
fat passengers sitting on the same side of the train as it goes around a bend
Scotrail has assured passengers that in the coming months, we can all expect the Covid delays to be done with and replaced with the standard, normal delays.
